Here's the email that went out this week: Hey Everyone! We're starting to feel like…
Think Write Thursday
The Think Write Thursday topic for today is to write a post called Hello, July.
Hello, July! I’m happy to see you as you usher in the height of summer. You start off with a holiday, which I appreciate very much, and your long hot days are right up my alley. I love that July means Dale doesn’t have to get up early in the morning to go to work. I love that we have an extra weekday together to head to the beach or a museum. I love the blue July sky and, while I don’t love the humidity that often comes along right now, I sure prefer it over cold and ice. And speaking of cold, what’s better than a cold beer on a hot July afternoon? Of, for that matter, an icy martini on a sultry July night? It’s all good, I’m telling you.
Well. There is one teensy problem with July. It’s goes by tooooooo fast. So, slow down. Please? I want your long lovely days to last and last and last.

I am with you – slow down July! Just meander along and take your sweet time! It is such a great month! XO
I’m glad there are people that appreciate July to balance out people like me that dread the heat and humidity!
This is the greatest month! Envious of your once a week days with Dale too. Wouldn’t it be nice to have the entire month of July off? 🙂
Yes!! I sure wish we could slow down that clock a little bit. Enjoy every minute!!
July is ok, but now that I am no longer teaching, I opt for September and April/May as my favorites!
I’m not a fan of the heat and humidity–however–I love the potential of each day.
Happy July!
We start July with a Holiday and end with a Holiday, but in between is often record breaking heat (no exceptions this year!). I still love July (even though we’re melting!)!
I’m looking forward to a most wonderful trip next month, but I want to savor this “looking forward” time as much as possible. July has 31 days, but it needs a lot more!!
What a lovely ode to July, Carole!
