A Month of Photos and a Video: January 2019

Before we get any further into February, let’s take a look back at January.

As much as January felt long and dark and cold the photos tell a story of light and fun and love.

And then there’s the video, condensing that month that felt endless into . . . 54 seconds.

We’re on to February!

  1. Too bad the actual January could not feel as short as the video did! And, yes – more of that smiling Jackie please!!

  2. Like most commenters, I cannot resist Jackie! Unlike other commenters, I’m gobstruck by your knitting finesse.

  3. Like Jo, I noticed your knitting speed. You are a pretty fast knitter, Carole. I am not that fast, but I wish I were! Jackie, that cutie, just keeps getting cuter. And, aren’t you devious? I caught that hubby napping shot!

  4. Great photos, as usual. I did have this one funny thought before I clicked on the video. “What if Carole just shows us adding one piece of the puzzle each day?!” Alas, you are kinder than that, and have a multi-faceted life to show us.

  5. Our January, unlike this month, was unusually mild. Just this afternoon an ash truck finally went up our hill, which means things are looking up! (Although more snow is predicted on Friday.) Loved seeing Jackie, what a little cutie and a bright spot on this snowy, icy afternoon!

  6. Our January, unlike this month so far, was unusually mild. Just this afternoon an ash truck finally went up our hill, which means things are looking up! (Although more snow is predicted on Friday.) Loved seeing Jackie, what a little cutie and a bright spot on this snowy, icy afternoon!

  7. And I’m looking forward to March-lots of good things planned. We have so much blooming right now I’m a little concerned that the trees are going to be very confused.
