Sharing 3 random things taking up space in my head these days . . …
Three On Thursday
Today’s post is a simple one. But it’s full of spring cheer. Behold, three photos of daffodils I picked in my yard yesterday:
I don’t know the names of those varieties but I can tell you that I bought them from Breck’s and I believe they came in a naturalizing mixture. They are sprinkled all over my front garden beds this year and around the base of the tree in our front yard as well. I can see them from the windows in my kitchen, living room, and bedroom.
They bring me joy. And anything that brings me this much joy is definitely something I want to share with you.

Lovely daffodils! I agree that spreading cheer at home is so important right now!
Today’s my first day participating in your linkup. Thank you for hosting it!
So pretty Carole. Our daffodils seem to be lasting much longer this year (thank God!!).
I love daffs…especially such a variety! I do wish they lasted longer in my house, though. So I keep my nose in them while I’ve got ’em 🙂 Enjoy!
Just beautiful (and well worth the work of planting them)!
Thank you for sharing. Daffodills are my favorite flower. They look and smell like spring!
Daffodils are just the most wonderful, bright-and-sunny flowers, aren’t they? My daffodils are still waiting to open — but soon! I have many buds getting heavier by the day. (I did have one bloom — it’s always this goofy “outlier” in a sunny spot in my butterfly garden. Such a tease.) Flowers are MAGICAL! (And especially this spring.) XO
Beautiful! Some varieties I have never seen before! And I am with Carolyn – I can almost smell them!
I was noticing that my daffodils are not as full this year so I probably need to plant new bulbs next fall. They are very cheerful
Oh man, those are beautiful!! That last one! Thanks for that… daffies always make me smile.
Such beautiful daffodils! That last one is my favorite — I’m not sure I’ve seen anything like it before!
Love the different varieties of sunny, happy daffodils! The naturalizing kits are the way to go. That’s my plan for next fall.
Particularly beautiful on this gloomy day! Thanks Carole!
Let me just say–the weather forecast for tonight/tomorrow is 14-18 inches of snow. I envy your daffodils.
Amazing beauty in those daffodils, and what a great variety! Thanks for sharing.

Daffodils are my all time favorite flowers!
Lovely, and so happy!
All the hearts for those gorgeous blooms … and for sharing Joy. Thank you!
So pretty! Mine are just now poking up under the snow we received yesterday. I love the third ones!
Love your daffodils! We have quite a few around here but I dare not pick them. Smith picks up a bouquet of tulips for me every week when he goes.
Lovely! Thank you for sharing your joy.
