Three On Thursday
It’s Veteran’s Day in the United States and I know that means many of you will be thanking veterans today, maybe participating in services or parades, too. I thought about writing a post that listed 3 practical ways to thank a veteran and I started with my friend google to get some ideas. I pretty quickly came across an article that listed 10 ways to thank a veteran and decided that this soldier said it all way better than I could have.
This is the link to the article: https://www.military.com/veterans-day/heres-how-to-actually-thank-veterans-for-their-service.html
I will say, the three things that really stood out for me are: write a check, bring in a veteran speaker, and hire a veteran or a veteran’s spouse. But really, you do you and decide how you want to make a difference this year.
And that’s all I have for this Thursday. If you wrote a post for today be sure and include your link below.

Thanks for the link to the article, Carole. Many suggestions I would not have thought of by myself. My husband spent his entire career taking care of veterans, and lots of family are veterans, so we are certainly a veteran supportive household.
Thanks for this link, Carole. There are lots of good ideas there.
That’s a good article and I thank you for sharing it. I knew I wouldn’t be in NJ for Veteran’s Day, so I went down the block to the VFW last week and asked what they could use the most. The town just switched to a new company for trash and recycling and we have to pay for any extra recycling bins if we need more than one. They use a lot of recycling bins at the VFW, so I went and bought them two. Kind of an odd donation, but it’s what they needed!
Thanks for that link!
That’s a great article – thank you!
Great article!
