My summer blog schedule is over and I'm going to continue doing Three On Thursday…
Three On Thursday
When I welcomed November on Monday, I alluded to the shorter days and how that leads to hibernation and hygge. Those aren’t bad things in my world, but at the same time, I don’t love that the end of daylight saving time moves everything forward abruptly by one hour. And so, in that spirit, I have 3 memes that I hope will make you laugh as you turn your clocks back this weekend.
And that’s all I’ve got for you this Thursday. If you wrote a post for this week, please include your link below.

Door #3 will be happening at my house. (sigh)
Ha ha (bitter laugh.)
I absolutely hate the loss of light, but I am trying to follow your best advice, Carole. You once told me that attitude is everything, and I am trying to have a good attitude about it. It’s inevitable, it’s temporary, and I can power through it (I hope so, I hope so…). Now, if I can just remember my new mantra until next spring, .
I know that on Sunday morning I’ll be happy to have gotten an extra hour of sleep, but by Sunday evening I’ll be hating it — that third comic is totally me! I still find it so ridiculous that we keep changing the clocks. I think we should just split the difference and turn the clocks back half an hour and be done with it!
We are already having these painful conversations in my house. I think Daylight Savings time has served its purpose and needs to be retired!
YES! That’s it, exactly.
So. Dark.
Ugh. Counting the days until Winter Solstice. I hate those days when it’s dark when I leave for work and when I come home.
Another dramatic #3 here. (If I’m not careful, I’ll probably find myself going to bed at 7:30.)
Ha-awesome-thanks for these.
#3 already happens to me!
So great! 🙂 And what Sarah said!
Oh yes, laughing along with you because otherwise, we would cry!
You are so right! Things are really dark here, too. I can relate to all of your cartoons.
Even though we get that ONE extra hour sleep, this time change kicks my butt. I wish we could just stay at daylights time forever. This back and forth really messes with people’s biorhythms…blerg!
Unlike the test of the world
..I love this time change. But hate the spring one. This one puts me more back in rhythm with my own clock, and I just generally feel better all the time. So for a few short months, I enjoy…
