Hello, February
I was going to write a post today about welcoming February and all the lovely things that come with this month. I think, though, that the snow and cold has impacted my creative thinking because I couldn’t come up with anything except for . . . chocolate.
Instead, I’m going to share with you something that I do on the first day of every month, in case you might want to do it too.
I download a tech background for my laptop. I get these from The Everygirl, a website that publishes articles on everything from fashion to careers, from wellness to culture. And, as you’ve realized by now, they offer beautiful, free, downloadable backgrounds for each month.
This is the one I picked for February 2022:

That site is certainly full of lovely things! I haven’t changed my backgrounds for years … I have a watercolored Be Still image on my ipad and laptop that still brings me joy every time I see it!
Well, isn’t that a fun idea! And . . . welcome February. At least it’s short! (And it has Brian’s birthday in it, which always brings a nice celebration for us.) XO

February. The month even the marketing department tries to avoid.
Chocolate is the first thing that came to mind for me! But those flowers a welcome sight, especially given that my daily views these days are all white and gray (snow and slush).
