I was listening to the Happier podcast yesterday and Gretchen and Elizabeth were talking about…
Three On Thursday
I’m short on time and long on tasks so I’m popping in with 3 cartoons that are seasonally appropriate and I hope they will make you laugh.
Also, the announcement no one cares about but I still feel the need to make: this will be the last Three On Thursday that includes a link up. I’ll still be using this topic myself but I’m going to suspend my InLinkz account (and payment) at the end of the year.
It’s your last chance to include a link if you’ve got one!

I always laugh when family members tell me I’m hard to buy for – give me a book, yarn, or wine and I’ll be happy!
Pockets for the win! And always, always, always a book. Thanks Carole!
Hahahaha! These are so good and true!
Each of these is so on the mark. But I’ll go with Door #3, my constant complaint about pockets since I was old enough to realize boys got pockets and we didn’t. Heckuva way to be introduced to gender inequality.
2023 goal: friend insists you can insert pockets in most garments after market, learn this.
These are all great! Though I would change the second to “give me money for books or yarn” because often people buying for me do not have the same taste in books (or yarn) and wouldn’t necessarily buy me a book I wanted to read.
The third cartoon makes me want to find a great cross stitch sampler I saw and stitch it up to display in my house next year: My favorite season is the fall of the patriarchy.
Books and pockets are the best! thank you for hosting this and the Ten on Tuesday linkups for all these years!
Love these – especially the first one! Merry Christmas to you and your family!
