I had a weekend full of glimmers. I did not, however, capture many of those…
Weekend Glimmers, December 8-10, 2023
Glimmers . . . moments that spark joy, contentment, and peace, making me feel that all is well and I am right where I belong . . .
Unlike last weekend, which was very social, this weekend was spent largely at home. Puttering. Planning. Eating. Resting.
Perfectly poached eggs for breakfast. My mom always made this for me and called it dropped eggs on toast and it’s still one of my favorites.
Latkes for Hanukkah. I like mine with sour cream, Dale prefers his with applesauce. They were perfect for munching on Saturday night while we watched a Christmas movie.
Coffee and reading in bed on Sunday morning. I got this mug last weekend at a local pottery shop and I adore it. I swear that coffee tastes better when you drink it from beautiful mug.
I hope your weekend was everything you wanted it to be.

What a lovely weekend, Carole. How wonderful to have some calm and restful moments in the midst of a busy season. (And that mug is really special! Talk about glimmer . . . ) XO
It really is a treat to have a low-key weekend. Your latkes look delicious!
Coffee in that mug and those perfect poached eggs sound doubly perfect!
That mug is gorgeous! (and I am in total agreement that coffee in a special mug does taste better!) Happy Monday, my friend! XO
another weekend gone by! I love the tree and twinkle lights in your bedroom – and that mug!
Coffee definitely is better in a gorgeous mug, and your new mug easily fits that bill. Your weekend sounds so nice – relaxing, tasty, etc.
That sounds like a lovely, restorative weekend! That mug is wonderful!
It looks like a delicious and restful weekend. And coffee absolutely does taste better in a pretty mug!
