My weekend went by in a flash and most of it wasn't documented in photos.…
Weekend Glimmers, March 15th – 17th, 2024
Glimmers . . . moments that spark joy, contentment, and peace, making me feel that all is well and I am right where I belong . . .
Trigger warning: all of the glimmers this week show photos of food. If you’re hungry you might want to get a snack before reading this post!
The first glimmer of my weekend was a massage. I get one monthly and I really love it. Sometimes it hurts (in a way that I know is okay) but it’s good for me. I tried taking a photo of the room but (a) it was dark and (b) it felt invasive to my massage therapist.
I tried the Sleepy Girl Mocktail trend on Friday night. It’s a combo of magnesium powder, tart cherry juice, and seltzer. I slept great Friday night and decided it worked but last night it didn’t help at all and I tossed and turned like a typical Sunday night. WHY am I like this?
I couldn’t resist the green bagels at the grocery store. Much easier than making green eggs and ham!
Sunday afternoon was the glimmer-y-est of all. Or should I say, glittery? Hannah came over and we had brunch and watched the Taylor Swift Eras Tour film. It was so fun and I really enjoyed it. Lots of sequins! And so many of my favorite songs. If you have access to Disney+ I highly recommend taking the time to watch.
I hope you had a lovely weekend.

What a lovely weekend, Carole! (And those green bagels! Perfection!)
YUM!!!
Thanks for the warning about food; now I want some delicious brunch (but nobody here seems to be bringing me any)!
I just had yogurt, but your brunch spread looks so much better! Sounds like a great weekend. I need to get a massage…it’s been way too long!
Sounds like a nice weekend. You breakfast looks heavenly!
Sounds like a nice weekend. Love the green bagels!
That looks like a fantastic weekend (except for the not sleeping). I love the idea of an Eras Tour brunch! Perhaps my daughter and I will have to do that.
Sounds like a great weekend. My daughter and I also watched the Era’s Tour Movie. It was fun to relive the concert we went to at Foxboro. What a great concert that was!
That sounds like a lovely weekend, Carole! I don’t think any of my kids listen much to Taylor Swift, but if they were, that movie sounds like a fun one to watch together.
