Here is a beautiful December sunset as viewed from my deck. It’s appropriate for this, the last day of 2009, I think. Dale and I are staying in this evening. We’ll probably be watching episodes of True Blood or playing cards. We’ll definitely be eating delicious things like stuffed mushrooms and king crab legs. Hopefully we’ll be awake to see the ball drop but I imagine we’ll be tucking each other in by 12:02. We just aren’t as young and exciting as we used to be!

Sounds like my kind of New Year’s Eve – we usually have some nice appetizers, a little champagne, a fire in the fireplace, a movie with the kids and everyone is asleep by 9:30-10:00. Happy New Year!

We will be staying in with a fire in the fireplace, hubby watching football and i’ll be spinning! The dog will be barking at the fireworks. I’m sure we will be tucking each other in by 10:00 unless a football game is still playing
