Chocolate Peanut Butter Ganache Pie
It’s Thanksgiving Week here in the United States and that means I’ve got food on my mind. Well, pie . So I thought I’d share a pie I made this weekend.
Chocolate Peanut Butter Ganache Pie
20 Oreo cookies
3 T butter
1/3 cup peanut butter
2 cups heavy cream
2 cups chocolate chips
1 tsp vanilla
Process oreos in food processor and mix with 3 T butter. Pat into pie plate. Bake for 10 minutes in a 350 oven.
Meanwhile, combine peanut butter, heavy cream and vanilla in a saucepan. Heat until peanut butter melts, stirring frequently. Remove from heat and add chocolate chips. Stir until smooth and pour into pie shell. Chill at least 3 hours. Drizzle the top with melted peanut butter before serving.
I brought this to a gathering on Sunday and it was a hit. It goes a long way because it’s so rich that you really only need a very small slice to be satisfied.
Simple, easy and delicious. It doesn’t get better than that.

Whoa. Now that is a PIE. Pretty, too!
Looks delicious – I think pie is the best part of Thanksgiving. It’s the only time I make it.
Wow, that sure is pretty! I might just have to make that one for Thanksgiving 🙂
Yum.
Oh my! That’s a pie!
Looks yummy. I’d love a slice with my cup of coffee!
I have an awesome easy and simple chocolate pie recipe if you
ever want it. Just made it and had it this weekend for our
pre-Thanksgiving dinner for family here in NC. Taste like a
fudy brownie.
Oh, YUM.
Holy crap. I may have to try this instead of the classic choc. cream pie I was planning (hubs is not a fruit pie eater, so I always make one for Turkey day just for him).
That’s quite the cake, beautiful!
Mmmmm……..it looks SO good and easy to make! Thanks for sharing. 🙂
Yum! I need another dessert for Thursday so maybe I’ll make this. But I was thinking about your cranberry pecan pie. Tough decision!
I used to love these sorts of pies and desserts, but now I find them just too heavy for me. However, I have been craving a cranberry pie, and I just read Beth’s comment about your cranberry pecan… that might be just the ticket. 😀
Thank you! I was hoping you were going to post that! I know what pie I am making for Thursday now.
It looks delicious!
Since I’m working the holiday, I need to take food items in for the annual potluck. Sweet tater pie is on on my list, but this might just have to be added on. Yum!
What’s not to love about that! I need to start thinking about my Thanksgiving desserts – I may have to add this to the list.
That looks delish. Bru would love that. I’ll have to try it.
Wow, does that ever look good!
Mmmm, that looks wonderful. Love the drizzliness. I think I gained 5 lbs just reading the ingredients!
Just what I need – another super-high-calorie yummy 😉 I just may have to try this when the kids are here this week – thanks!
Hmm… as previously advertised, I’m not big on peanut butter… I wonder if one could use marzipan instead. Or maybe I should just go for chocolate bourbon pecan pie.
You have just determined what I’m making for Thanksgiving dessert!
Yum!
Wow, thanks for this! I’m going to have to give it a try as soon as I get home for Thanksgiving…
One huge creamy peanut butter cup!
You are redefining evil. I am on a diet! I can’t even have the crust. It looks so good! Grrrr.
Mmmmm. I’ll bet it tastes as good as it looks!
OK, that’s it! I’m going to make that for Thanksgiving dessert. It looks soooooo good!
Wow, that looks amazing! Too bad I have all my baking done for tomorrow, but I can tuck this one away for a future celebration…
sounds rich and delicious!
oh my. what a gorgeous pie.
