SPA is always a lovely weekend away with friends and I'm going to tell you…
Time Management
Spinning is such a great hobby.
You spin and spin and get lovely singles.
You soak the singles and thrash them around and wind them into a skein.
You make yarn.
Then, of course, you want to spin more and you make more yarn and the yarn piles up because you have time to spin or you have time to knit but you don’t have time to do both.
It’s a conundrum, no?

And what a wonderful problem to have! Everyone should be so lucky!
Beautiful singles! I’ve pretty much given up on knitting – it’s become my “pass time as a passenger in the car or in a post office line” activity, because when I’m home all I want to do is spin and weave. Poor Knitting – it probably misses me.
And, a lovely one at that!
That is one GORGEOUS yarn!! It is difficult having too craft loves. I spun this morning because I couldn’t sleep. I think that’s the key. Never sleep, then you can do one craft for 8 hours and the other craft for 8 hours and then work for the other 8. If only….eh?
It is, as a former boss would say, “A good problem.” Lovely stuff in those pics.
The story of my life……….. 🙂
Beautiful singles! Get’s me in the spring time feeling.
What lovely spinning, and what fabulous colors.
I always figure the spinning/knitting cycle works out in the end, because inevitably by the time I get sick of one, I’m ready to go back to the other. My problem is convincing myself to -use- my handspun yarn.
It’s a good problem to have!!
I see no problem here…
Love your singles!
What a wonderfully Spring-y skein of handspun! Looks like a basket full of bird eggs (not to be confused with Easter eggs, which is a whole other basket of eggs)! Goes beautifully with a glorious sunshine-y day like today 🙂 I think I have to seriously consider learning to spin, and borrow a wheel from someone. Hmmm, wonder who I could ask??
Beautiful singles! Sure you can do both. One right after the other-lol.
That yarn is so pretty.I just love the softness of the colors. What kind of fibre is it?
OMG! That is just beautiful yarn! I have never really trusted my yarn to just use it as singles, but yours looks just perfect. Please do tell what fiber is that?
And then there is the time needed for blogging, Ravelry, emails,…
Your spinning is beautiful! The yarn reminds me of sea glass.
This is why I’m not going to spin until I retire. Too many things I need to knit! But your yarn is gorgeous.
Very pretty! ;o) I haven’t spun in like a month, either. gah.
DO you use a spindle??? I think I asked you this already..sorry.
Just got some roving in a swap….dare I learn to spin too???? But where???
Then you spend a year knitting with nothing but handspun. ;^)
Beautiful yarn!
Beautiful!! Spinning fascinates me, but I am not willing to try it. I have too many craft addictions and know that it would add to my collection. Therefore, I will admire your creations. Now, you must post what you knit with your new yarn. Well done!
Ohhhh, the pretty!
I think we need a Handspun Knit Swap. Seriously.
Carole! Beautiful yarn!! Alas, I do not spin. But I love to cook, and read. Knitting wins out every time!
That one turned out really pretty!!!!
A very lovely skein! Such pretty colors.
