Wednesdays Are For Knitting: Miss BB

I started Miss BB back in November with hopes to finish it in plenty of time for SPA. Alas, that was not to be as the holidays derailed my plans and mindless sock knitting was the only thing I could handle for a while there. A few weeks ago, though, I renewed my determination to get ‘er done and, even though I missed my SPA deadline by a couple of weeks, I’m so glad it’s done now.

On Sunday, when Dale took me for that drive to cheer me up, we stopped at a cemetery for a few photos of me and my new sweater. You all know how hard it is for me to hand over my camera but I did and Dale did just fine.

While I was knitting this I worried that it was too long. I worried that it was too small. I worried that all of my efforts would result in a sweater that didn’t fit. I needn’t have worried because it fits perfectly. It’s roomy and jacket-like and I love it so much I have worn it for 3 days in a row now.

It was cold and windy and I was grateful for the warmth of this sweater made of my favorite wool – Peace Fleece. It wears like iron and it shows off cables beautifully.

I love this sweater – the fit, the matching of yarn and pattern, the texture – everything about it! Honestly, I love it so much I may have to just knit another one!
