I didn't mean to be AWOL yesterday, it was just one of those things, you…
Re-Entry
And I’m back! Did ya miss me?
I know I owe you a proper blog post full of vacation photos and stories and memories – and it’s coming.
But not today.
Today I am going back to work and getting back to reality and I need all of the energy I can muster for that because right now, on Monday evening, the thought of setting an alarm for tomorrow morning makes me want to cry.
So does the thought of not seeing this view again for another year.
Reality is not all it’s cracked up to be.

Wishes for a gentle re-entry this week.
Welcome home! You’ve been missed.
You were greatly missed and I hope your time away was refreshing, rejuvenating and 100% enjoyable!
I did miss you, and am glad you are back. But I empathize with the difficulty of transition.
Good to have you back. Your posts are a lovely start to the day.
Welcome back Carole! You were missed. And may everyone you meet greet you with a smile today!
Here’s hoping your desk piles aren’t too high & you get through all the pile-ups quickly 🙂
You’re well into your first day back by now, so I’ll hope it’s going smoothly. That first alarm clock after vacation is a cruel sound.
Of course we missed you. Be kind to yourself–reentry will be good because you are such a luminous personality and everyone will be glad to see you back. That’s my story and I’m sticking tomit!
I can totally relate to your ‘dragging your heels’ after seeing that lovely photo. Wish I were there, too!
Enjoy your gentle(?) reentry into the real world and here’s to a very grand day!
Cheers~
welcome back! wishing you a calm re-entry – and looking forward to seeing and hearing more about your vacation (once you’re ready!)
Sometimes reality isn’t anything near what it’s cracked up to be. But I hope that your reality this week is kind to you.
Carole-welcome back! Reality can be overrated! I have taken the time to look through your photographs. Really beautiful photos. Any advice for a newbie with a camera? Classes, or create your own path? How did you ride that learning curve? Thank you in advance for any advice you could share.
