A Month of Photos: January 2015

My fifth year of Project 365 has started off with great success. You would think, since I’ve been doing this so long, that picking up my camera on a daily basis would be automatic. And yet, there are days where I almost forget and then I’m wandering around the house trying to take a picture of something, anything. I put Project 365 into the My Habits app and that little reminder is enough to make me give some real thought each day as to what I’m going to photograph.

Okay – enough words – here are the photos I took in January 2015.

Snow and tulips seems to be the theme for the month! I also managed some baking and football watching and knitting. Such is life in January.

  1. I love the side-by-side on the 26th and 27th – what a lot of snow in a day! but the tulips with bokeh on the 30th is my favorite – what a lovely shot!

  2. The month starts out full of color and then turns mostly white. It’s no wonder considering the amount of snow you received. I still have trouble remembering to take pictures. I’d be a fail at 365 after 3 days. 🙂

  3. Lovely photos as usual. Of course, my eye immediately went to those bar cookies leaving me wondering if there might be Reese’s PB cups in them? Or maybe I don’t want to know.

  4. I love that you set a reminder to take pictures. They look great, as always. Your One Word project looks like it’s coming along real nice!

  5. The toasty woodstove and the little football snacks look especially appealing on this snowy, cold day (again.)

  6. So much color and so much white! I’m glad the My Habits app is working for you–I should follow your good example!

  7. I’ve always loved your photography…any suggestions for a novice? I would love to pursue this, but don’t have a clue where to begin…except for the obvious – with a camera!

  8. Great photos…we need the color of the tulips after the greyness of January. I just found a lilac/lavender/violet (I don’t know what color to call it.) purse at Target yesterday and couldn’t resist it’s springiness. So I bought it! 🙂
