It's time to put the fall session of Read With Us behind us and that…
Making Merry
Today I am heading to Cape Cod to bake Christmas cookies with my dear friend, Doreen. It’s the first time we’ve done this but I’m hoping it will turn into an annual tradition. We have gathered our cookie recipes, purchased bags of flour and sugar, pounds of butter and chocolate, sprinkles and vanilla and nuts and more.
There is one ingredient, though, that can’t be purchased.
It’s probably the most important one of all and I predict we will have way more than a dash!

Have a great day together. That sounds like a nice tradition to start.
Do you imbibe a bit during the baking? I’m sure that would add to the joy ;-
