Three On Thursday 30/30

It’s the last day of NaBloPoMo! 30 days, 30 blog posts and now, 3 things I think about posting every day.

  1. It’s not that hard if you have a plan. I already post Monday-Friday so adding the weekends isn’t a whole lot of work. I actually had those Sunday Funnies posts all set up at the beginning of the month. And the Saturday Selfies thing wasn’t difficult since I take selfies a lot now anyway because LipSense. Honestly, it’s harder to find something to post about on Tuesdays than on the weekends.
  2. Responding to comments takes a bit more time. I generally get less email on the weekends than during the week but with daily blog posts there were comments and they needed a response. Don’t get me wrong, I am not complaining, it’s just something that has to be taken into consideration.
  3. I’m not the only one posting every day, you all are as well and staying caught up on your blogs definitely takes more time. Much like those extra emails, those extra blog posts need to be read and comments need to be left. Again, I’m not complaining, just noting that there is an additional amount of time spent on reading blogs. The bottom line on this, though? I love reading your blogs on a daily basis, especially if you are someone who doesn’t generally post all that much.

And now: onward to December!

If you wrote a post for today I hope you’ll add a link to it below so that we all can read about the three things on your mind this week.

  1. Tuesdays are also my problem day! Between writing a post, reading, commenting, and replying to comments, NaBloPoMo was a time investment. It was fun, but I’m also glad to regain a pretty big chunk of that time!

  2. Thanks for posting every day. November can be a tough month with the serious transition to darkness and the looming holidays can be hard for some. It’s like a quick check in with an upbeat friend to read you before I crack open the news of the world which can be decidedly not upbeat.

  3. I never think I’m going to be able to manage posting and reading every day, but every year it just ends up sort of folding into my November life somehow! It was a bit more challenging for me this year because I was away for a week early on, but it all worked out.

Thanks for blogging every day. It was a pleasure to keep up with your posts. XO

  4. Tuesday’s the worst blogging day of the week! We all need to come up with a new Tuesday Theme! And, here is to another successful NaBloPoMo!

  5. It was fun and I agree that the keeping up with reading and replying takes more time but I really enjoyed making more connections with you all.

  6. Haha. I wrote out a loose plan for the month but it was abandoned probably around Day 4. I have always been a seat-of-my-pants blogger and I guess I will always be!! It’s been a great month; I’ve fallen behind a few times, but enjoyed every minute. Thank you!

  7. November is a month of commitment to community! I didn’t have a plan and some days I barely made it around to comment. But, I LOVED being part of the community of NaBloPoMoers! It was a blast. xox

  8. So appreciate all your blogging! I really appreciate all your writing! November is my favourite month, from a lurking and occasion commenter perspective! ?thank you!

  9. You’re so right, Carole – adding in the weekends isn’t the hard part – for me it’s keeping up with y’all and responding to comments (and ugh, I’m behind on both – again!!)
