The prompt for the month of March over at Ali Edwards was to choose something…
Watercolor Wednesday
Today is slightly repetitive from yesterday, but I’m sharing Motif #1 as a watercolor instead of a photograph. This iconic structure is widely recognized as the most-often painted building in America. That statistic probably does not include using the Waterlogue app but it works for me!
Happy Hump Day!

I didn’t even notice the reflections in yesterday’s photo, but they’re evident here. Just lovely!
Did you know that the current Motif is a replacement? The original fell into the “hahbuh” during the Blizzard of ’78. Pretty soon it will sport a huge evergreen wreath on its side and will be even more picturesque!
Works for me, too! 🙂
(Maybe you should try to paint it from your photo????)

Looks great this way. Maybe it’s because I haven’t spent a lot of time in New England, it I don’t recall seeing this scene before yesterday. So I’ll have to take your word about that ‘most painted’ status.
Ooo! Kym has an interesting suggestion! I say go for it! 🙂
Award winning! Great shot Carole!
Wow! It’s gorgeous!
I love this app so much–thank you so very much for introducing it to me, I use it often! 🙂 Your photo is a great one!
oh those colors! I think the Waterlogue app does a great job at showing details I miss in the photo – colors, lines, reflections …
Love the color of the water!
