A Month of Photos: October 2015

It’s no secret that I love my monthly photo mosaics. I love creating them and I love sharing them with you. It’s such a great way to look back on the month and remember the things that happened. Here’s my October:

The transition from early fall to late fall is pretty obvious – we went from zinnias to fallen leaves with some beautiful foliage shots in between. There were 3 (count ’em 3!) family photo shoots, a party, some entertaining, cocktails, snacks, and some sadness. I look at those photos and I remember all of it.

Thanks for looking at them with me.

  1. Beautiful colors and bright blue skies…October at its best in New England! The mosaic reminds me so vividly of how our lives are often like a roller coaster ride with alternating highs and lows…and how they affect us in so many haunting ways. May November be kinder and gentler to you and your family, Carole.

  2. Every year I say I am going to do the 365 days of photos, yet I never do. Maybe 2016 will be the year.
    Such beautiful photos you take!

  3. Everyone is saying it, but I really can’t believe it’s November! And it’s RAINING(!!!) here in California……not just sprinkling but really raining. I could hear it when I woke up during the night. We are rejoicing. And of course, checking in with Carole Knits first thing is what I do! Have a great day.

  4. A month of movement where autumn transforms our color palette and insists we embrace change. You captured it beautifully.
